Postponement and refund of 'UCI GRANFONDO WORLD SERIES AROUND SAMCHEOK 2020'

First, we would like to thank you for registering in 'UCI GRANFONDO WORLD SERIES AROUND SAMCHEOK 2020'. with all our hearts.
As the ‘COVID-19' is spreading across Korea, there are many people worried about taking part in the event. To cope with this situation, our organization headquarters has discussed the matter with local government and the Korea cycling federation several times, along with keeping an eye on domestic situation.
Consequently, we cannot help postponing the opening of the event. Though there are 40 days until the planned date, we think this is the best course of action at this time because the number of domestic infections is over 5,000 and keeps increasing. Considering the situation, we thought sticking to the original plan would be a bad decision.
We are so sorry for the inconvenience caused by this national disaster. We hope you understand as we are only concerned about the safety of all participants.
As a result, the opening date of 'UCI GRANFONDO WORLD SERIES AROUND SAMCHEOK 2020' will be July 4th(Sat)~5th(Sun) and People who want to get a refund can request to this email address of person in charge(dh.yoo@xcworks.com) by 20thof March. We will refund you starting on the 23th of March, in order of precedence.
We hope all of you take care of yourselves and cheer for the safety of Korea and the world. We will prepare harder to make it a higher level during this time.
